From what I've experienced, DHD performance boards suits pros due to their maneuverability thanks to their extreme tail kicks. Juliette, as explained by them, has an even increased rocker on both extremes over the DNA which is not what we would already consider a flat board. That being said, I also had the chance to check one the other day and it just yells at you to take it out there and rock it as hard as you can.
JW loved their limited edition 99 board on the first Stab, and every time I pull it out of my rack and take a look on it, the tail kick is the first characteristic that strikes me.
It's mandatory to be able to reposition the feet to hit the tail area when you need it to get the most of it. The longer you go when ordering it as a result of trying to reach the necessary volume for non pros, the harder is gonna be to reach.
That ability is something that, sadly, is not on the menu for everyone.
These are boards designed for contests. You could certainly drive a F1 on regular street, but sure as hell you're gonna suffer with the experience.

Finally got some hours on my stock 6'2" over the past 3 days.

Nothing but good things to say about this board. Drivey, fast, loose. Felt so confident attacking the lip aggressively (as aggressively as I'm able to...) and provided a really stable feeling platform re-engaging with waves on re-entries. Like Casa said, good paddler and wave catcher.

Rode it in waves from waist high (going to want some shape if you surf it in waves this size) to a few feet overhead and it performed.

Used JJF Larges my first session on it (overhead point break) and found it kind of twitchy, very loose but didn't give me confidence to push as hard as I can through turns. Followed Casa's lead and ran large Jordys on subsequent sessions which tamed it perfectly.

Would highly recommend giving this board a go to anyone who likes to DD a HPSB style shape. I'm anticipating this being my go-to board come fall/winter when I shift away from my normal summer point and migrate to beach breaks.

put my hands all over juliette yesterday, truly a thing of beauty. wish i had the youthful energy and waves that aren't sh¡t to ride a board like that, a lot more rocker than the highline especially off the tail, more like the pyzel radius grade rocker.
Thanks for the report

Made it to a shop just yesterday that stokes DHD's, but alas they didn't have any Juliettes. I like a lot of tail rocker to begin with and the Juliette sounds like it's right up my alley for an hp thruster meant to be surfed in good waves (more realistically a good wave travel board). Got to fondle a Utopia and that felt really nice. Felt like more of a decent wave board for California.

@casa_mugrienta how are you going on you Highline? Figured out what its low and high end limits are?
Maz, what conditions you looking to ride the Highline in?
I have had a Highline in XTR construction for just over 2 years, surf it stomach to 2' overhead until I step up to my Ghost. Surf it mainly at the points and reef breaks in southern Baja. As others have said the board comes alive with a little more energy and cuppy waves but will still fun when conditions are less than optimal. Fairly easy to get drive and speed and bury a rail or tag the lip (or in my case bog a rail). I am a bigger man, and I really push hard off my back foot and it seems to hold well thru turns. I ride it as a squash but would imagine a rounded pin would be fun! Not sure why it doesn't get more love in the Pyzel offerings, maybe because of marketing, but its my favorite board in my quiver for the past year.
Just updated my avatar photo with a pic riding the Highline-54 years old, 5`11", 193#, ride a stock 6'1" with JJF Large Fins.
