Sorry if this has been discussed to death, but the search function sucks. I am considering getting PRP for my elbow (lateral epicondylitus). It's going on a year now. I've had 2 cortisone shots and a prolotherapy shot to no avail. From what I've read so far, it looks promising for specific conditions, mine in particular. Not covered by insurance.

Any insight?

I'd tell you this though. Find out what activity continues to aggravate your lateral epicondyle. Tennis? Golf? Weightlifting? You are doing something repetitive that is straining the extensions of your forearm. FACT. You are lifting or repetitively doing something with an improper technique. All lifting should be PALM UP! Palm down aggravates the lateral epicondyle.
