Need to replace ole Cannon inkjet printer/scanner for home like to avoid inkjet maybe go laser if it worth it. I only need to print or scan documents and if I print photos go pro. What says erbb for good solid affordable home unit ink last no expensive inkjets to buy all the time

Laser is worth it if only printing once in a while. toner cartridges dont go bad but inkjet cartridges dry out on their own.

if only printing photos every so often, go to a FedEx store and have them do it.

b&w laser printer for home, ftw.

I'm an "IT guy" and work remote 80% of the time. I haven't had a printer at home in over 10 years, If I *really* need to print something, I'll just go into the office or(more likely) run down to the local FedEx location and print there.

As a relatively computer literate non-IT guy, I've had far more problems with printers than I have with any other type of hardware :cursing:
