And not releasing video. Is it just a posed photo? Not the right tool for the job. Very impressive photo though.

Really impressive but too bad Takuma hs to play this marketing game. IMO promoting surf foil in a surf spot such as Teahupoo is not the best way to promote surf foiling.

Going into the extrem part of the sport and promote this, is what is gonna kill a growing sport...

it's becoming a bit a bit of a d!ck measuring contest, slowly turning into surfing, what a shame, great while it lasted.

Everyone. Everyone requested the video. Was it a make though? I can't decide if it was or not. He came out, but not in anyway was he gonna ride out of it at that angle. Going way to fast on to steep of a section.
I thought it was pretty cool that the first idea Foilwizard had about getting barreled on foil was that you would pump in early as opposed to getting towed in.

Dunno if it was a make, but surely we can agree he was "standing tall in the barrel" :D

This was on a pump out, I came from the right of the frame, and had to tighten the arc pretty hard in the attempt to complete the "360" . What you can't see behind the board is almost half of my NL190 is out of the water. The carving 360 is not as easy as you'd think. There's alot going on with timing, speed, pitch control, etc.. Hopefully I'll get it dialed soon.

Keeping with the Pacific North West theme ... trees in the background, hood, booties, gloves. This spot breaks only once or twice a year when swell is huge ... first time surf foiling it. A lot of kelp. [And hey, that's too many photo posts in a row for me, y'all need to get sharing!]
