Why doesn't California just purchase, say just 6, of those 'Super~Scoopers'?
From what i know, California rents these planes, from Canada.
Why not buy a few? Fires start when~ever, not just durin' so-called "Fire Season', right?
This 1 was fightin' a blaze some~where in L.A. last November of '19,
i shot a few photo's on his last ocean water fill~up before darkness set in...

Because this state is run by a bunch or corrupt idiot ideologues who are too busy ruining small businesses to be bothered with doing something that would actually help the state’s residents.
Would not surprise me at all if someone was getting some kickbacks on the plane rentals.

i do find it odd that California does not/will not have a fleet of Super~Scoopers ready 24/7 to fight our State's fires.
Do California cities rent their fire trucks? Their fire fighting equipment? etc...
Been different pepz/political parties runnin' California all my life that i've lived here,
yet we still rent the best brush fire/forest fire fighting tool,
a couple of planes, from Canada every year for 'Fire Season'?
But 'Fire Season' will happen, any day, like today, here in California:
