I Had Some Friends Aske Me If I Want To Go to pismo beach on the 19th of march. do You Think It Is worth checking or should I just stay in san diego. They Are Going riding up there and wanted to know if I wanted to go surf. how are the waves at this time of year and how is the water temp? how big does it get there so i know which boards to bring. Any help would be appricieated and if you have any photos that would be great. I heard the crowd is not a problem because there is a long strecth of beach. would it be like a long strech of beach that is good like I.B. or is it a long stretch of beach that is not good like silverstrand in san diego. again any info would be useful so I can Make my decision.

Pismo beach is home to the very worst surf on the centrl coast. But drive around a bit and you could find something, but by mid march the NW winds usally start to kick in.
