SurfDoc: My left leg has some pretty deep nerves pinched, I believe. A friend of mine, that knows Shiatsu and deep therapy style massage has worked on me, but it only helps momentarily. That's why I think it might be a deep "hidden" nerve. I was thinking Acupuncture, what do you think about that?? Also any good stretches? Diet?

Thank's for any info.

PS! The reason I think it's a nerve is the pain can change all of a sudden. One moment it's the calf, then the thigh... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Need Advice!!

I got some pinched nerves in my left leg, that travels. Certain days, No pain, other days, major pain. Anybody have experience with this??

I have no insurance, If I did, I would go to a chiropractor or likewise...

Is there any over the counter medicine, specific streches? or other things you would reccomend? accupuncture??

Thanx

Is it a pinched nerve? Hard to say. Could be one of a number of things like muscle spasm, tendinitis, bursitis, or cramps. Pinched nerves usually occur at anatomic areas where the nerve is vulnerable like near a bone or joint. Your shiatsu person or herbalist or chiropractor might be right, but you'd need some tests from you doc to really determine issue.

Good luck!
