What pens and or markers are you using for board artwork? Will Sharpies work? Then when finished do you spray a clear acrylic over your work?

Posca are the cream of the crop. Sharpie paint pens work good to. I dont recommend the regular sharpie pen though. Krylon acrylic Crystal Clear non yellowing to protect it works really good.. Satin..

I know you probably already know this BUT
wear a good mask and spray outside if you can help it. Acrylic spray is toxic stuff!! and stinks up your garage for a couple days. Wait for a good sunny day and it dries fast.

JBD I havent had a problem yet with the satin being milky. Are you using Krylon if so which formula are you using, or what brand are you using.... Always looking to try something new.. Thx...

I've seen the satin get milky. It almost seems as if they changed the formulation because it happens much easier now than in the past. It can be avoided if you are careful not to spray it too heavy. Light coats are the call. I prefer the gloss.

I've been using Krylon .......the satin is tricky, matte or gloss have no issues. Seems like they added a white tint to the paint or something, just giving you a heads up.
Could also be a temp thing. Who knows. I just go with matte or gloss now. Multiple LIGHT coats are the key for sure.

JIMI approved!
