Stamps has made me more rock solid shortboards than anyone else so I just stick with him for that. Been a little hit or miss on alt boards for me though (TKF Skillet & FX didn't click)
Album for alt shapes. Pretty much like most boards model he puts out. The Bom Dia is a major gamechanger for me.
Lovelace for the mids. Been getting boards from him for about 20yrs. Some of my fav boards ever!

Oz nsw coast.
i usually run a three board thruster quiver of groveller, all rounder and step up.
there is other hangers-on but i will stick to the core of the quiver.
i had mixed quivers for a long time.
then i was all aboard on the DHD train - phoenix, 3DV and sweet spot 4.
for a time all was right in the world.
then i yolo'd a Byrne Spartan as an all rounder.
Frankly, one of the best shortboards i have owned.
for a time all was right in the world.....
mixed/same quivers, dont sweat it - ride what works for you.

stumbled on this 2020 thread. Noticed @tedshred5 has turned his working quiver over a couple times since then. Guess i've basically got 3 shaper 3-boar quivers. I'd be pretty covered for 90-95% of surf in SD with any of them.
Pyzel 5'9 GremlinXL swallowtail, 5'11 P2XL, 6'3 Ghost
Mitsven 5'8 DH TKF, 5'9 winged quad fish, 8'0 mini glider
Album 5'8 plasmic, 5'10 lightbender, 6'7 twinsman RP stap

edit: practically, replace ghost with a white tiger and it would get way more use
sometimes I cringe when I see these old ones bumped up - I always wonder how I'm going to eat my own words.

I seem to develop a fascination with a particular shaper, order 1-5 boards, and then move on to another.

Over the years I've moved from ...Lost to CI to Stamps to Album and currently, CC.

I guess my amusement is in the rocker families across shapes. find a rocker I like and explore the stub, short and long versions of it from the shaper.

Campbell bros, Stretch, Maurice Cole, or my local guy would be my choice in a one-shaper quiver.

I think a smaller wave DD, a trusty step-up, a wall hanger that only touches water on the most epic days, and a longboard are all I need.... but not all I want. But I don't see the draw of a one shaper quiver; that's like saying i only want to eat at my favorite restaurant my entire life. How you gonna find out there's more fun flavors out there??

Is that Flare stretched a tad? Looks a little less stubby than mine. If I could change one thing about mine, it would be to add drive, so I am curious if yours is tuned to do that.
Nose and tail pulled in with increased rocker. V out the tail. He said it's a flare but not really lol.

I definitely do my best surfing when I stick to 1 shaper. There is something to be said about the consistency that comes from using boards from the same guy and really dialing them in. If your trying to find consistency and improve, I do feel like that is the way to go.

Everybody isn't looking for that though, so its probably irrelevant to the majority of old salts looking for something new to refill the stoke meter. Sometimes exploring and experimenting with different designs from different shapers is what some enjoy most.

It doesnt look like one. It sounds more off the menu than on but with the flare rocker.

not that the stock flare has ears but it kind of does. It also lacks that nose flip on the last 3”. It gives hybrid energy, if you will.

curious to see the rocker profile of yours.

Yeah I need to swap with @tedshred5 sometime as his is pretty much stoke at the same dims I believe.

The features he built in all came from tweaks I've done to other boards like the gx and fuse. I'm a sensitive bitch

In the same way my gx is not a gx. I have no idea what a stock one is like I think mine is the outline with a tweaked rocker.

i still want a gx outline minus the bump with flare rocker
