Gabbard has a BOANER vote nailed down.

When you're voting with your dick, her socialist platform is not important.

Until you cum and then it's like OMG what have I done

How did I get here

I thank you for the clear response and sorry to be a dick because it's a good and detailed recipe...for weak sauce.

It's feels-based weak sauce. Some people who know nothing about Gabbard other than her signature issue is anti-interventionism burnished by her service have decent things to say about her. I bet when John Kerry was getting his sh!t pushed in by Howard Dean early in the 2004 cycle, the soon to be Swift Boat Vets for Truth had good things to say about him. About 75% of the people currently spamming Facebook with Trump Dindu Nuffin memes back in 2015 were spamming Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and calling Trump a New York Democrat.

The indication I'm getting is that she'd fare horribly, because nobody knows anything about her and she's not up against them in the General.

If I was looking for someone who stands a chance against Trump, I'd look for someone who overperformed Hillary, handily, in 2016, in Trump zones.

And I'd come up with Bullock and Klobuchar ages before I came up with Gabbard.
Klobuchar :ROFLMAO: Her voice makes my high school librarian sound exciting. She's the female counterpart to Biden.

What helps me decide who to vote for are the positions they take and how they articulate them. Gabbard is well spoken and willing to take publicly take a position that is against the institutional elephants in the room that are fookin us over the most, especially the MIC.

The reason why nobody knows Gabbard is because the DNC and the media pick their winners in advance. Which is how we ended up with Trump.

Again- why is the media and HRC going after Gabbard if she is not a threat?

only problem, you might win in tumplandia -midwest but not in much else. progressives would not vote. youth would not vote which is a complete disaster.
I think aa lot of people would just walk away from voting.
$.02

The Youth and Progressives don't vote now. The one time you can kind of make the case that they voted was when we had a black rock star celebrity candidate.

Basically every state HRC actually won, she'd probably win without Progressives and the Youth. Appealing to Progressives and the Youth are going to cost a bunch of votes among people who actually turn out.

The (D) can afford to lose huge swaths of voters in Massachusetts and California and New York and New Jersey and everywhere but the Upper Midwest.

Writing off 4 million Californians for 100k Trumplandians would have won the White House in 2016.

Klobuchar isn't a senile grope artist who is dying live on TV.

I don't see "the media" "going after Gabbard" and HRC is trying to sell books and said she was misquoted with the Russia plant thing?

The times I've watched Gabbard in an unscripted question-and-answer she came across as anything but well-spoken and her ability to articulate her position was Gary Johnson Aleppo? levels of bad.

I mean if "the Media" wanted Biden this badly and/or it was about being an intersectional victim as long as you're not a white male (I can't keep it straight), "the Media" wouldn't be pimping Buttigieg.

I don't know. But it seems the midwestern people, and eventually, their vote is dead. Cheato keeps sticking them with his plastic fork, eg tariffs, empty job promises, and still no future. They only have so many burps in them and will have to make some big boy decisions. Once they figure out that the King Troll trolls them as much as anyone else, is it still satisfying.

Agreed, but her positions are about as middle-of-the-road as you can get. When she talks, she sounds about as exciting as a box of store brand corn flakes.

I don't see "the media" "going after Gabbard" and HRC is trying to sell books and said she was misquoted with the Russia plant thing?
If you cannot see the blatant bias towards supporting HRC by the left-leaning media, then I cannot help you. This is the same media that said she had a one-in-a-million chance of losing to Trump and ignored signs that pointed to the contrary.

Also, I would have a hard time believing HRC trying to back peddle her Russia plant comments. She has proven to be one of the most untrustworthy democrats in existence, and does nothing but whine about how unfair it is that she lost.

The times I've watched Gabbard in an unscripted question-and-answer she came across as anything but well-spoken and her ability to articulate her position was Gary Johnson Aleppo? levels of bad.
Well, guess we can agree to disagree on that. I've spoken with plenty of well-educated and successful people that seem to like what she has to say. She absolutely tore up Kamala Harris, which was epic, and the accusations of her being a Russian asset and Assad apologist just happened to appear shortly after. LOLZ.

Cheato only won one election by a couple drops of ****. 4.5M people voted in Michigan, and he won it by 10.5k votes. He won Wisconsin by ~23k votes.

Team GOP got mauled like a vegan jogger wearing a bell running past a grizzly in those states in 2018.

It wasn't Ilhan Omar's district that got flipped. The (D) playbook there did seem to be white person who served in Iraq paraphrases Klobuchar's "We don't have money for all that sh!t".

I think winning the Lakes States back is the key. What is the flip side, someone who still managed to lose in 2018 in a swing state, despite every advantage in the world, is somehow going to win?

I live in Florida. Gillum lost. The most relevant GOP areas of the state were festooned with blue-green sludge and dead fish for three months leading up to the fall of 2018. Fort Myers/Naples/Marco/Sarasota/Venice and the Treasure Coast, the businesses were closing, you couldn't swim or touch the water at all...

And the True Progressive Youth blah blah blah still lost, in an election that was like +7 for (D).

Yes, compromise in a perfectly divided country sounds bland. It's also what outperforming HRC in Minnesota by 20% sounds like. I'll take the measurable metrics.

If you cannot see the blatant bias towards supporting HRC by the left-leaning media, then I cannot help you. This is the same media that said she had a one-in-a-million chance of losing to Trump and ignored signs that pointed to the contrary.
This is a separate topic from "the media" "going after" Gabbard. I'm sorry the New York Times told you it was 99.9% and you believed them. 538 told me it was 70%, and some polls with 3% margin of error that showed HRC with a 1-2% lead in some swing states were off within margin of error. If that's "THE POLES ARE ALL RONG FAKE NOOZ" then I cannot help you.

Also, I would have a hard time believing HRC trying to back peddle her Russia plant comments. She has proven to be one of the most untrustworthy democrats in existence, and does nothing but whine about how unfair it is that she lost.
Cool; I don't care what HRC says about Gabbard one way or the other and I think she was trying to peddle her book.

Well, guess we can agree to disagree on that. I've spoken with plenty of well-educated and successful people that seem to like what she has to say. Kamala Harris doesn't know whether to sh!t or get off the pot; the allegations that Gabbard's an Assad apologist have been around since before the 2016 campaign really started so I'm not sure where you're getting that.

but it still comes back to stupid needs to make better decisions or eventually die. DNC/GOP are both on the death track. For the stupid, inching slightly away from the cliff might be palatable and seen as their big sacrifice but drinking a 12oz Diet Pepsi Big Gulp instead of a 36 oz-er is still being stupid.

IMO neither the left nor the right are sufficient in numbers *and distribution* to win a POTUS election outright. That leaves the middle as being where all the action is in the general election. Neither of the major parties can win by themselves, both need to expand their tent enough to capture the majority of the votes cast by the middle.

I think blowing off the middle in favor of the base is a really bad plan for either party.

Compromising on policy is one thing, and arguably a necessary evil. Having a voice that sounds boring, even on NPR which is about as boring as it gets, seems like a non-starter. Personality matters.

Sure, but it still speaks to the validity of the main news sources, and their bias towards HRC, that most people patronize as their sole source of news. Thankfully, that is changing as those media sources continue to dig their own grave.

Kamala Harris doesn't know whether to sh!t or get off the pot; the allegations that Gabbard's an Assad apologist have been around since before the 2016 campaign really started so I'm not sure where you're getting that.

NPR is boring!

because it’s not Joe Rogan podcast.

STFU millennial
Let me rephrase. NPR has plenty of interesting content. Although the overall "soundscape" of NPR, such as the intro songs, voices, etc make me feel 40 years older. It's like they pulled the soundbites from my grandparents record collection. If you can manage to sound boring relative to that, then yeah, that's pretty bad.

Intro songs on NPR sound like you grandparent's records?

Your grandparents are 50 years old?
You're 12?

Facts are boring and thoughtful interviews are boring. To 12 year olds.
You can learn way more from NPR than from Rogan podcast.

I was thinking about the moment of death last night.

It's good to be ready to let it all go.

Otherwise, it will make you sad and distressed as you make that transition.

I like the idea that the body knows how to die.

Yay, autonomic systems!

Exactly

Its been a struggle to get candidates like Yang and Gabbard even to the debates and even when they're there they are ignored by the panel asking the questions. It was like 30 minutes last time before Yang even got to speak while the Establishment fuckheads were babbling the whole time.

The people barely have a choice
