Scratch that. I don't see him on the draw. I did hear that he had received a wild card for this event, maybe he declined?

Medina is in it which is surprising. Reckon he will go pretty far, solid backside.

Yeah I don’t see John in the draw. But in the last Vans The Pick Up clip Gabby isn’t in Hawaii yet. They’ll probably give John a spot in place of a no show or injury. Pipes been firing and guys have been getting hurt.

*Note - I haven't been following this too closely, so...

If Kelly is doing this big wrap up to his career with camera crews following him... why isn't he in the Sunset comp, when a lot of the other CTer's are in it? Unless he is carrying an injury, shouldn't he be all in? Or, is he going to come back for one more year?
For some reason, I see Kelly coming back in 2020 to bring it to an end - Olympics or not.

Thu 11/28/19: Contest is OFF due to holiday. Surf was around 2-3'+ with a declining swell. Happy Turkey Day!

Why dont more of the ct guys do the triple crown? Is the triplecrown no longer that big of a deal like back when Andy was in it?

If you don't need QS points, then some want to "save " themselves for Pipe. That said, coconut wireless is saying medina and Kolohe are pulling out.
