I remember when I thought there was no way the Ted Cruz diehards would coalesce around a thrice-married populist adulterer. Hoo boy was I wrong.

I am coming around to the idea that they might be able to go to DeSantis and recoup some Trump -> Biden voters to make up for their loss of Trump-or-bust hardcore cultists.

But I think the elites whose lives are often one big luxurious convenience don't realize a shitload of people, whatever their opinions on vaccine or whatever, are tired of jumping through hoops re: Covid.
