Nice!
Mt Reba? I lived the 70-71. Only the comeback trail back to town. I hear it’s a little wild. Be carefulHas anyone explored the backcountry around Bear Valley? I've got a pass there this year and am hoping to explore whatever's around there as well. Seems like limited info available online about it.
Nice!
That East Pacific High looks pretty solid but maybe breaking up a little a couple weeks down the line? Not abnormal in the slightest for Sierras to not get truly dumped on until late December/early January. No need for panic airways just yet. Need to do a mental shift still.
Oh hell yeah actually.
More sanctimonious Bullshit. Its why you make such a great ModIt’s a dangerous activity. If you don’t want your kid leaving in an ambulance keep him/her/them off the mountain. There is always an out of control snow boarder. A stubborn tree that refuses to get out of the way. A patch of ice hidden by a dusting of fresh snow. I know folks who have broken legs just getting tangled on a lift line
Epic morning on the mountain. Almost back to the beach. St Lucia on Tuesday
As a father of a skier and a snowboarder I can say there is no shortage of kookery on both skis or snowboards. So why the douchey 'knuckle dragger' narrative? Should we start posting clips of clueless skiers snowplowing across the knuckles of jumps or stopped in the landings of established natural hits? Maybe your kid was the problem?I think Im gonna say no more Mammoth on weekends for my Son. He got slammed by an out of control snowboarder on Cornice and bent the fuck out of his poles. I told him to use his pole and stick em like a guy picking up trash fucking gays on trays knuckle draggers. I heard some other kid got hit by one and left in an ambulance.
