I’ve been tuning in to get better scoop, thinking about this... no material updates/details that I’ve found :shrug:
Thanks man. I suspect it will be a week or two before the experts analyze the bite radius (if possible) and make an estimation on the size. Around 10ft is usually the threshold when they start hunting pinnipeds. When they're first starting they're not very good at it and tend to be more aggressive hunters. Dr. Chris Lowe from the Shark Lab in Long Beach calls the 10ft range the most dangerous size because of this.

A couple weeks back, as my brother was out surfing he saw something thrashing around in the water inside and noticed that it was a shark that a guy fishing from the beach had caught. So he went in and helped the guy bring it to shore so they could cut it loose. Turns out it was a juvenile white about 6' long...



He seems nice...just look at that smile.
