The completion of the air reverse to step off onto the sand seems to be what separates the WSL elites.
boring to watch but I'm always stocked when it turns out im getting better waves than the worlds top pros.
Yep. Somewhere I've got a pretty cool batch of pictures I took at that event. My first attempt at photography. Tom Carroll way back then making NJ look the way Italo is making the little waves the WSL is facing this week.

I enjoyed the heats I was able to watch. At this point I'm just happy to be able to watch live pro surfing. These men and women surf so good. Some of them can be a bit mechanical, but really enjoying it.
I'd be very happy to surf what was on yesterday...watch it, not so much

Maybe the surf is very reliant on direction? The other day they said 1ft with high interval and it was probably 1,5meter surfings!
