Yeah, I like to see them scrap in "tricky" conditions but i think that's mainly schadenfreude.
Maybe I'm just not a ripping enough surfer for what they are doing to seem very relatable to me?

2 cutties and a closeout reo is what I can do.
And I don't consider that elite sport.
They need to restructure the sport so they can get good waves.

I thought it was a protest against the utterly sh!t shorepound conditions but maybe I'm wrong.
Perhaps the ASP.....I mean the WSL can come back to New Jersey now. This event looks like an East Coast slop fest.
Its a lot like watching the best surfers in my area surf at the end of my street............in New Jersey.
If Italo etc. are surfing the way they are in those shitious waves, then the rest of the world will have a hard time even getting to their feet.
i turned on for the first heat, watched about 30 seconds..looks like i didnt miss much. pro surfing, yay!
