Note: Event #10 of 10 will finalize the top five men and women who will compete for the Rip Curl WSL Finals that will ultimately determine the tour champions.

Yes. And if forced to choose between miles and miles of spread out beachbreak with current and duck diving vs 40 kooks backpaddling and snowballing each other, I'd rather surf Huntington, too.

Having grown up surfing those miles of spread out beachbreak before duck diving I’d argue that the two are not mutually exclusive.

Diversity of tastes is good. But at least Portugal, France, Brazil, Lowers, and HB I'm not sure if it'll be an alley oop or air reverse. Tahiti, they'll take off, get tubed, do a cutback, kick out.

Fair enough, I am sick of air reverses. That being said, big challenging beachbreak is a good watch

I like it cuz it's a contest Slater can win, and the real top guys like JJF, Robinson etc usually do well.
Huntington was fun to watch when I was in 8th grade. 1-2 maneuvers in onshore waves and a shorebreak floater for 7s and 8s isn't fun to me anymore, and it's not like being 13 years old when seeing Curren and Occy etc in person was exciting.
