I haven't seen them on TA anymore, which is a shame cause I need a futures set. A couple people had used techflex ones, but I think those are too stiff for the conditions I usually surf... if I understand the techflex attributes correctly. I still have a set of fcs ones, maybe I can look around for one of those goofy fin box adapters

So it seems CI discontinued their rtm tech 2 which is the stiffer material. So if I want a stiff CI fin I just gotta use the tech flex?

I had an older version, it seems they've updated but it might just be the colorway. But my assessment was less stiff and more forgiving than techflex. The tips felt flexier, bit more twang out of turns.

edit: I bought the am2 version based on this review of the am1's. Dude's praise is effusive but might want to take it with a grain of salt?

paging @retodd: looking for a quad futures set for a 6'0" stretch 2x4 round tail. surfing in barreling/critical waves only

i weigh 155. was riding stretch st2 fiberglass quads in it for a while and only complaint is a little stiff feeling for turns

mahalos!

Is there a fiberglass AM1 (medium) out there for futures?

Closest I’ve seen is the NVS 5-fin set in g10 but the center thruster is same size as the fronts.
