I run them in my townsend. But i also tried them in the banjo fish and they felt great. I havent ran them in the lightbender and dont plan on it. That board likes more upright fins. What boar do you like the alkalis in? They look too raked for my tastes- like the Asher modern keel I tried in lightbringer. When I asked about them in the album shop, was told they were good for the sunstone (their most fishy one) or would draw out turns on the lightblender.
but yeah, that purple sure is purdy.
THanks. Don't know why it's so hard to answer a question for him@silentbutdeadly
Might be a bit more balanced too, drive/pivot
YMMV
I understand it's a feel thing, not everyone wants their twins to perform like a thruster

still thin foil and super stiff = knifeG-10 can be super dull at the edges if desired
Its a foiling thing , not material
Move the leading base edge back 1/2 -1 " on those purple fins and you will have very nice shortboard Twin fin
Its not about riding like a ThrusterI understand it's a feel thing, not everyone wants their twins to perform like a thruster
Just got my Alkali fins in the mail. They sure are pretty.Really nice fit and finish. Hopefully will get a chance to try em this week. The Alkali are nicer fit n finish. I dig both of them but if I had to choose, Alkali for sure.

I like the T1/Rasta twin template (seems to be fairly neutral/forgiving for me), but not sure you'd want to settle for them in thermotech. That;s the plastic, right?what's the consensus re: T1 in thermotech? I'm 135lbs and going to use them in a hp twin.

i doubt any of us fin snobs here would suggest the T1's in plastic but if they are what you can afford, get em. it's a good template. for someone your weight i'd probably be looking at a Small twin like the Akila's or Machado's.what's the consensus re: T1 in thermotech?
