I am not sure its the fins or that set I have a It2win which is OG same shape with twin set up and use the Stretch 2win Fins unlimited set 5.5" height and 5.25" base and super fun mid side with stinger wing adding more hold in wave super glide and pintail keeps tail engaged in face as well.

Larger, no sharp point, made from traditional fiberglass rather than G10. The foil is probably nicer because Alkali are hand made in Aus rather than China.
ya and they’re not g10. lame companies wanna use it bc cheaper production costs.
looks to be some imperfections in edge of the nvs? not that any of us would notice but still.
bought a set of EN's today and felt like a douche having them grab me all the sets they have so I could compare foils/imperfecitons etc.

The Alkali are nicer fit n finish. I dig both of them but if I had to choose, Alkali for sure.
Mostly because purple.
What boar do you like the alkalis in? They look too raked for my tastes- like the Asher modern keel I tried in lightbringer. When I asked about them in the album shop, was told they were good for the sunstone (their most fishy one) or would draw out turns on the lightblender.
but yeah, that purple sure is purdy.
is there a dress code at the album shop? Cover charge?
G-10 can be super dull at the edges if desired
Its a foiling thing , not material
Move the leading base edge back 1/2 -1 " on those purple fins and you will have very nice shortboard Twin fin
Reducing the base width to around 5 1/8 " from the front , better area reduction from base to tip - not so extreme - less area for the narrower tail of a semi shortboard or stubby shortboard
