Using the new Futures MR twin/trailer. Fins feel a bit small compared to the FCS template.
They have a good amount of cant too. I switched my Stamps bort to Captain NPJ fronts (which are the MR78s) with a T1 trailer to see if that feels different.

I never liked my EN's so I cut them down into my own custom outline and then lost interest and never finished foiling them.

I now wish that I had saved them for duffmeister.

And before any of the resident smartasses chime in- yes, my legs are twigs.

6.5 like a thruster front fin. Akila's like that also and a couple others.
T1's always worked well for me as a twin/trailer in most boards. I've been like Timmy's tp twin+1's in boards with low tail rocker.

It’s been challenging to push hard off the MR fins in a bottom turn. I have T1s and some others that I’ll also try. Here’s my board with the MRs:

Hmm. I’ll measure but I want to say 10 1/2 or 10.

The board is a lot more positive with the NPJ fronts that are larger and have 4 degrees of cant. So I don’t think it’s a fin placement issue.

that Bottle Rocket looks so fun. How's the rocker curve compared to say a Flare?

SonofCobra twins have a bit of cant so might be worth a look

Your help, please.

Mate of mine scored a bargain on a 2nd hand 7'10 Padillac, and needs quad fins. Thing is that it's FCS2. What do think?

Edit: He's no mad charger, so something that'll let him turn and doesn't feel like towing a grand piano.

I'd probably go with something smallish and upright like the Reactors. Paddy doesnt need a lot of fin in my experience. My 7-10 goes well in mortal sized waves with the captain fin christenson quads which are pretty similar to medium reactors but maybe even smaller rears if I recall.

Check out the Paddilac template for an idea of the kind of template and surface area your mate should be considering. Not big fins and pretty upright looking too.
