Pfizer's Q2 earnings are out. Why don't you work up some calculations on vaccine profitability? Also, BioNTech came up with the vaccine, Pfizer got it over the regulatory finish line as a partner at the last minute.

In a major blow to vaccine efforts, senior FDA leaders stepping down
Two of the FDA's most senior vaccine leaders are exiting from their positions, raising fresh questions about the Biden administration and the way that it's sidelined the FDA. Its as tragic as it is ironic. Could the FDA, big pharma, and doctors have created the fentanyl epidemic if we were not 70 years into an endlessly failed experiment with prohibition? Hard to tell. Are we ever going to learn our lesson and let people decide what they will put into their own bodies?Fentanyl related. Looks like it is happening everywhere (click me).

LOL Not. Even. Close.
Not only are we failing to quit with the "thou shalt not" bullshit, but we are accelerating into the brave new world of mandating that certain drugs be used. Gonna be fun!

WOW? REALLY?!? I'm talking about 2021, which is AFTER the vaccines were released.Again, revenue is not profit.
Second-quarter 2021 Cost of Sales(2) as a percentage of revenues increased 18.6 percentage points compared with the prior-year quarter. The drivers for the increase include, among other things:
- an increase of approximately 15 percentage points associated with sales of BNT162b2(1), which includes a charge for the 50% gross profit split with BioNTech and applicable royalty expenses;
- unfavorable changes in product mix, reflecting higher sales of lower margin products including revenues from the Pfizer CentreOne operation, partially offset by the favorable impact of higher alliance revenues; and
- unfavorable foreign exchange impacts.
Maybe viagra sales skyrocketed with everyone being home? And older folks isolating for months on end?WOW? REALLY?!? I'm talking about 2021, which is AFTER the vaccines were released.

R&D expenses went up very little in comparison to revenue growth in vaccines. Most of their expense growth was cost of sales:
I'm seeing roughly $11 billion revenue growth in six months due to the vaccine vs. 8 billion in expense growth to sell - most of which is a profit split with BioNTech and royalties. For the amount of R&D Pfizer invested, they made out really well. Like I said, BioNTech did most of the work and Pfizer helped them get it over the regulatory line. This is a lot like NovaVax' partnership with Sanofi for their EUA targeted in Q4.
An extra $6 billion a year ain't bad on a vaccine they didn't invent. Looks like 15% YoY profit growth just on the vaccine.
Final sales to the Taliban!Maybe viagra sales skyrocketed with everyone being home? And older folks isolating for months on end?

The half better-encompasses the vaccine rollout.3 Posting results from one quarter is excellent snapshot in time, provides closest indication of how things are now. I enjoy looking at longer time periods and expect this bias got in my way of seeing what you wanted to look at.
But Pfizer executives, VPs, and many others are compensated in company stock. You don't seem like you have any experience in tech.8 And you'd still have been better off buying a S & P 500 index unless you managed to time things right or played the options properly
That you have a hard time connecting dots.9 And all this proves what exactly?
