checked out the frk hes riding, was thinkin looked like he might have too much rocker
but it says the board is medium rocker nose and tail.... unless they modified this one with more....

2 interesting/funny things I picked up in Slaters after heat interview:
1. Him saying if he can win Mexico and Tahiti he might be able to slip into the top 5 for the finals at Tresltes. This is saying he intends to surf Tahiti even though it's been rumored he wont be able to make it due to his non-vaxd state and the 10 day quarentine. It also shows how stupid the World Champ format is if he's able to skip the entire Austalian leg and still have a chance at being World Champ.
2. Interviewer: "You've got Italo in the next round, what's your feelings on that?"
Slater (immediately and straight faced): "He's got a tough heat." If nothing else give it up to the GOAT for keeping that PMA!

i feel bad for silvaner. I feel like she'd beat 90 percent of the field but has to surf against the goat fiarly early on
Silvana could be a world champ if she gained some weight and surf at 80% instead of cooking each wave harder and harder until she falls.

pretty much the one event i was excited for. youd think of all places - chopes would be the easiest to "contain".
