It's so stupid that they give that such a low score. I think it got 3-something...It just doesn't make sense.

The scoring is f'd up. Degree of difficulty? Skill? That ride was beyond the ability of most of the elite surfers in the world.

They were crowning champions with unmade waves at Jaws the other week. What the goat did today was proof we're living in the Matrix, and he's Neo.

With the scale in that heat I'd say Kelly's wave in question was a high 5 or a 6 if I were a judge. The scale in the heat was low to begin with and at that stage of the heat Kelly had a good completed wave that only scored a 6.93.

They need some scoring criteria for 'crazy sh!t that doesn't match WSL scoring criteria'.
That recovery was off the hook.
