It wasn't enough to sway even the Dems to vote on impeachment of it then, after over 2 years of it. They could've but didn't because it was as weak a sauce as watered down ketchup.

Now, obstruction of injustice over a private phone call is all they have left. Pelosi is taking this train to the cliff along with the AOC squad that pushed here there. They're backed into a corner, with that little ragged mouse hole to drive the train thru, and it looks like they may go for it anyway. Senate hearings will be glorious, just in time for all the Dem campaigning.
It wasn’t a private phone call. It was an official government phone call. It was the most powerful office in the world recruiting a foreign power to help influence an election.

Flip the script. What if a democratic president did the same thing?

you stil have been able to defend Trumby’s actions.

It was a type of phone call all presidents make in confidence almost every day of the week with international leaders.

There was no talk of restricting aid for info. There was no threats of retaliation for not cooperating.

If it was a Dem that made similar talk with a foreign leader, it likely would've never been leaked and if so, MSM would play it down as a nothing burger (which it would be, even for a Dem prez).

So now, a president can't inquire on issues of potential corruption and impose sanctions without worry of impeachment?

We can't help it that Biden's son was deeply involved with the prior very corrupt Ukraine government and Burisma. He would NEVER have been there without daddy's help and influence. Why Ukraine of all places in the world? He could've plopped Hunter down anywhere to make big coin? Asia, South America, Africa. Influence peddling? Nah. Making $1 million a year for NO experience what-so-ever is a great gig if you can get it. Everyone does it, so move along now. Nothing to see here. We got's ourselves a MFing Trump to rid of.:cursing:

How could you possibly know that?
What evidence do you have that Hunter Biden cooperated with the previous Ukrainian Government?
What 'sanctions' were being considered or imposed on Ukraine?
You're talking through your alimentary canal, bub.

So retarded. The mic drop thing is just the icing on the cake

The convictions were for lackeys and minions. The ultimate prize is still in office, and that is what this is all about

if you think it’s anything different you’re lying to yourself on multiple levels

“team” lmao
Holy Moving goalposts! His personal attorney, chief of staff, national security advisor, on and on, are lackies and minions?

"Drain the swamp", you said.

Trump is only in office today, because the supreme court is holding until July.

He will end up in jail. The goal post is still there.

None were prosecuted for what the original investigation was trying to dredge up. All were either technicalities like lying to FBI, which is a serious offense or completely different crimes non-related to Russia election propagandizing. Manafort's eventual conviction had absolutely nothing to do with the original investigation. Papadop got pegged for being set-up. A whole 2 weeks in jail. Epic. Flynn was railroaded by threats to his son, so he took one and went broke defending, to keep them from dragging family into it.

Whatever happened to the original focus of that whole covert FISA activity? Carter Page? He was the prime character in all this.

Now, he's planning his court battle once the Horowitz, Durham, Barr reports make their way into the public domain.

The saddest thing is, the jurors (i.e. the Senate) have already made up their minds on how they will vote, before the trial even starts. And most of them will admit that there is no evidence that could possibly be presented at trial that would cause them to change their minds. They are all this way largely because they are terrified of getting primaried.

My "sanctions" comment was just an example of what kinds of issues are discussed with foreign leaders in general, not this call with the Ukraine. What if someone overheard talk of sanctions, and didn't agree with it? Just not agreeing is now grounds for impeachment?

Hunter was kept on with a very corrupt Burisma all this time until just a few weeks ago. I personally thought he would've been gone months ago, if not longer. The previous Ukraine government most definitely had communication with Hunter from the time inserted there at Burisma thru this year at a minimum. How could they NOT. The whole gas trading and other pipeline issues in the region are huge $$$ skimming opportunities for corrupt governments. How ELSE can they afford to pay some tool like Hunter $1 million a year for just sitting there taking up USA inside access space?

Sounds like all that's needed to clear things up is for Mulvaney, McGahn, Pence, Giuliani, Bolton, Perry to either show up and testify or submit sworn statements. Why, if the hearings are 'tearing the country apart' and the entire proceedings are without foundation, not?

So, you're offering no evidence, only hairbrained speculation. Maybe you need to adjust your tinfoil hat?

Interpretation of Constitutional law is always debated. That's why we have courts to settle it.

Schiff and Pelosi (forced by the AOC squadketeers) think they're judge, jury and prosecution in this circus charade. Schiff thinks he's playing all those characters in some "reality show" back-alley Burbank studio lot "courtroom" (that is his district after all) where he gets to break all kinds of laws to see if more dirt can be found on someone, ANYONE. He should get an Emmy for his performance when all is said and done (Pelosi will have to accept for him, while he's behind bars).
that's a lot of words without any meaningful response or point

work on your ratios

(edit: oy vey, I just saw the intervening page. unreal)

Don't be sad, be of good cheer, after all, it's Sunday morning in America. There are 250 million American Christians today attending 350,000 Christian Churches devoted to becoming better people and honor the Creator. Even more encouraging, 91% of Congresspeople and 86%+ of Senators swore on a Bible to protect the Constitution. Have some Faith, bro'.
