you think McCain does? He's proven that he doesn't know his Shias from his Sunnis and is deeply concerned about the non-existent Iraq/Pakistan border showing not only is he profoundly lacking in understanding when it comes to the middle east but he's also too arrogant to learn about it.
Good point. How do you feel about Obama not knowing how many States there are, having been to 57 of them already?

What is the effing big deal?

He has proven to be a highly intelligent and resourceful human being who is comfortable with extremely steep learning curves.

After 8 years of that sciolistic pissant at the helm, I should think you'd be happy with ANYTHING!!!

On the journey...
Well, for what it's worth McCain is laying low. Possibly because he doesn't have his ducks in a row. Obama is balls out! He's over there, talking, meeting, discussing who knows what!! I mean these visits better be on the up and up and not just some campaign gimmick ya know? It's just weird to see a candidate so entrenched in foreign affairs before being President. And there's so much at stake it just seems a bit odd. Like I said, I just hope he knows what he's doing. To some point at least.

There is 'some' truth to that... But, 'somebody' made Oprah the most popular figure on national TV, and 'somebody' decided stodgy old golf was suddenly one of the most exciting things around because of Tiger... who now happens to be the most beloved sports figure on the planet.

...Let's see how this plays out!

after what we've witnessed these past 8yrs, i understand why you'd think so.

like idgit said, obama's shown himself to be a bright and capable man, undaunted of sitting in big chairs and long tables with men who want to kiss his cheeks and hold his hand.

read a quote from him saying something along the lines of going on this sojourn for the purpose of just listening and learning. also he stated there is only one u.s. president at a time and so he seems acutely aware NOT to meddle.

It's pathetic how liberals sound when they are trying to convince themselves to vote for an inexperienced ass clown.

Welcome back Crisco Sex!

Just curious, did it make a popping sound like a wine cork when your Posse Comitatus buddy pulled out?

Here's the thing you missed since you got your quip from a chain email from your gop buddies... Obama continues in speaking mentioning he hasn't made it to one state, and Alaska and Hawaii as his staff can't justify it. That means 3 states he didn't visit. 50 - 3? 47. A harmless error. But if you feel that instantly disqualifies him as president for you, can I ask why are you so simple?

Now how about good ol' McNugget blabbering on about the surge being a counterin-surge-ncy in a dairy section. This guy who claims he is the all-knowing power when it comes to Iraq doesn't even know the history of the surge. Nor does he know that Iraq and Pakistan do not share a border. He knows he is f*cking up so he goes and cancels his press meetings (yet b*tches about Obama getting all the media attention). Not only that, he talks about his interaction with MacFarland so arrogantly, he's practically taking credit for MacFarland's doing.

McCain is pitiful. He should be thanking the media for not giving him as much press. He would sink himself fast.
