My car radio is stuck on NPR and there are zero replacements available, I like NPR, but having it be the only station is starting to make me nuts. Still have not joined the Proud bois yet, but if this keeps up?

I just put a new stereo in my car.

I had drove it for months without my iPod connection working.

It felt good to take it in and get a new one installed.

I feel like I can do anything!

Where did you get the replacement?

Have you considered a phone or other device that plays music?
Yep.

Plus streaming with NPR app rules because you can skip boring stories and also listen on demand.

Now you are starting to get it :ROFLMAO: Hope you have your 5 cereals memorized :drowning:

How old is your car? If it's from the last 5-10ish years it should have an Aux cord or USB input, you should be able to connect your phone or flash drive there.

Not a tech guy, just got a smart phone last year.
Amazon and Pandora both suck badly.

I had an old laptop with several hundred songs on it downloaded from Limewire back in the day. Cheap MP3 does the trick well. Unless you download every song to your phone, Amazon Music in limited service areas is akin to CDs and washboard roads.

I haven't heard of anyone replacing the stereo in their car for twenty plus years.
when your car is twenty plus years old, you gotta upgrade to get that Auxillary jack
or the **gasp** Bluetooth connection

Bluetooth is hot garbage for sound quality. Doesn't matter with podcasts, but with music . . .. Hard pass.

I had blue tooth on the new stereo but it was wonky sounding.

Going directly with a USB cord works great!

I'm really getting my life together.

I got a hair cut and went to the gym today! :dancing:

I'm running out things to do on my honey do list.
