I've left the Revo in a hot car more times than I should have. In fact, this reminded me and I just took it out again. No sign of yellowing.iBolic
My Varials dented faster than a piñata at a fat kid’s birthday party.Interesting no mention of Variol as a comparison (guess they arent offering any free blanks to Lex
luther). My last XTr dented all over the place, just like varrial, but at least I know with varial little I can bust out the hairdryer for a resale dent refresh.
55378008 I used to give that to girls in high school "BOOBLESS"His plates sort of reads BALD like on the caluctator in math class

My Revo is holding up good too. I had to replace the tail pad because the kicker broke off, and noticed a little yellowing, but nothing crazy. I've had it a year and surfed the crap out of it and even took it to El Salvador and its holding up like a champ. I've very impressed with the iBolic tech.I've left the Revo in a hot car more times than I should have. In fact, this reminded me and I just took it out again. No sign of yellowing.
I just looked it up here and I've had the Revo for a bit over a year. Didn't seem that long. I've surfed it a lot because it's so versatile and drivey, does well on less than ideal waves, which is what I tend to get unfortunatly. My Revo is holding up good too. For whatever reason, he sells the blanks and licenses the vent tech to Arakawa. EA is the only shaper I've seen offering their boards. He had his own construction he was doing with it a few years ago "XO" but I haven't seen them pushing it lately. It was pretty expensive and probably not super popular. He doesn’t sell the blanks.
roll up your favorite Sativa, sit back and enjoy the show (World Music plays)
Lost and CI are both very good XTR options. Longtime Lost and CI shapers finish the XTR blank on site. Lost through XTR is an easier and safer custom order than any other option. Easier and safer to order a custom a custom CI through CI but you get the durability of XTR through Javier.I'm pretty torn between yoloing the latest big brand rip stick in XTR carbon and working with a shaper I can talk to.
For sure, and I do have an XTR CI on order and I'm not at all opposed to ordering another oneLost and CI are both very good XTR options. Longtime Lost and CI shapers finish the XTR blank on site. Not sure how the other companies work.
From my understanding shapers are just not fond of working with it since it is different for them. Given relatively small volume, it’s reasonable that they just don’t care to learn, either. For sure, and I do have an XTR CI on order and I'm not at all opposed to ordering another one
But I'm still not going to get Britt Merrick on the phone to discuss the rocker differences between the 2.pro and the 2happy and the fever and the... nor am I going to get him to make adjustments to the file for the waves I surf, etc.
Rusty is an interesting option if he's working with them again, though none of shortboards have ever really grabbed my attention. When I ordered my Blackbird we exchanged a couple emails and he made a custom file for me. Not quite the hour on zoom I got with EA but he feels like an outlier in terms of legendaryness vs personal attention.
I just think it would be cool if you get XTR from basically any shaper like you can with EPS, but it's probably just too finicky to work with for that to be practical.
Also just saw Rusty is working with TorqJust saw that Rusty and Chilli are both working with XTR. Nice!
Matt actually said he finishes all XTRs himself, that was a whila go tho...Lost and CI are both very good XTR options. Longtime Lost and CI shapers finish the XTR blank on site. I like the idea of getting a CI in XTR or Varial if they feel close to poly in flex. Most of the poly’s CI’s I’ve had have been good to magic but it’s depressing watching them disintegrate under your feet in a matter of months. Like meeting a 10 but she’s moving in a few months.Lost and CI are both very good XTR options. Longtime Lost and CI shapers finish the XTR blank on site.
