So many Stingrays in that zone from the peninsula to the Pier. Went 50 years w/o getting stung and got stung there

a couple years ago there were a bunch of drone videos of sharks there. Too bad Surfrider was unable to get the jetty removed.

Its a vast beach that is basically unused except the Bike Path. Hell they cant even rebuild the pool and have had an above ground pool for so long now.

Basically cost prohibitive to remove the Breakwall not Jetty. Although it would pump more money into the city if they did.

you know it man...all that trash flowing out in there...attracts smaller stuff and the landlord. not a fan of the area eventhough im jsut outside there quite a bit. shark lab suppsedley tagged an 18 footer a few years back that REALLY liked the area around the oil islands

Probably cost 200 million for something that could have been done for 50k in the private sector.

yea, it would be nice to have some more surfing area though

hopefully the landlord does not like paddle boards

The break wall is there because of the port, which brings in $100B/year and provides thousands of jobs. No way LB makes more money by removing it.

Surfwise, would be sick if they did.
