Just picked up my new custom from Michael Miller. It's a 7'8" x 22" wide quad "egg" with a shallow single to double concave. Wasn't sure what do about fins, so grabbed a set of Arakawa Futures to start with. Super stoked on how this board came out....Waxing up now to try and get some of this swell this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

I'm either on a 9'8" log/noserider or a 5'6" Griffin quad, so I wanted something in between to surf those in-between days. Wanted good paddling characteristics, able to semi duck-dive, carry momentum and still be able to be maneuver(hence the quad and hard edge towards the back end).

makes sense to me. I haven't clicked with mid lengths but have thought about a flatter rockered wide one a little longer for connecting the dots in beachbreaks.

Stocked to see a different shapers shapes on here.
