Virus mutate to survive...constantly looking for entry points. As antibodies become more prevalent viral mutation begins to occur more rapidly. Historically, as survival mutation occurs disease becomes less severe.
There's two things at play. Immunity and antibodies. Antibodies is your bodies defense against infection. Immunity is your bodies ability to resist disease. We know that antibodies begin to wane at some point after infection or vaccination. What is different with immunity is it stays robust for a much longer period of time until the virus mutates into something that is unrecognizable to your immune system.
The media and the government policy makers are solely focused on antibodies. They are not considering immunity as part of policy making. I don't know why because the real scientists make this point clear day in and day out but for some reason both parties willfully fail to recognize it.
