Overheard conversation at work yesterday - organ transplant (immunosuppressed) patient triple vaxxed - now clinging to life in the ICU - "If people just wore masks it would save people like him." (says the RN caring for him)

How fcking myopic. :foreheadslap:

BTW, if I'm not mistaken the above Dr. Ding alleged at some point that the two people infected with the new variant in Hong Kong were quarantining in rooms across from one another and hinted that it's proof of how insanely infectious this new variant is.

Does that mean the virus is able to evade masks + multiple doors?

Like, if my neighbor in the unit 20 feet across the courtyard sneezes and has his window cracked should I be freaking out and go get a test?

Help.

Its that people like me aren't triggered by the woohooflu that pisses you off. Mask up. On the plus side if the school goes virtual again it might make surf travel with my high schooler easier.
Didn’t you say you don’t go to the doctor because you’re scared of the other people in the waiting room?
