I checked surflies and there are two souths lined up, but the call doesn't look to be massive for SoCal. Pretty sure if I was in Mexico for that I'd be running with my tail tucked up past Vallarta.

That was my guess.

South of the harbor.
I was down there the week Jay Davies filmed this sick edit a few years back. This spot was fire the 2 days the winds went Norte (Devil) at the points which are straight offshore at this beachbreak. Saw quite a few boards broke during this swell and plenty of tube time hiding from that sweltering sun.
