I know it was mentioned above, but you should consider Gary Linden - his thrusters in the mid 80's, were the most-user friendly, ever.
Let's not forget Lance Collins. Does it get any more 80s than this? I think not!!!!!

Pat Rawson was one of the most in demand shapers thru most of the 80’s.

Picked up a Rad Ripper off the rack about 2 years ago and cant get off of it. Been a really good weekly (cause I don't surf on the daily) driver shortboard for me. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Light Speed version.
Barry Synder hit it out of the park Flatter deck, belly channels mini beaked nose. Took his 80s rebal yell and tweaked it with his Cash model 6”6’ x 21 3/4 x 3

Grabbed this 5 or 6 weeks ago. I was in discussions with Simon about ordering a custom but then this came up. Dude ordered it, waxed it but never rode it. Saved myself a bunch. Having an absolute blast on this thing.

Also have this 80’s inspired Simon based off his 3 Peat model. Flat deck, boxy rails, Vee bottom, 4 channel, single flyer swallow.

I have a second-hand Roberts Modern 80s that's super-fun to ride. I've actually been thinking of ordering a new one.
I grabbed one last summer and it's so fun. I've had two new boards since then and I don't even ride them. Honestly ruined all my other boards. So fun even if I've been out of the water for a bit.
frothing to ride a TP synthetic 84, should be ready any day. 3 +month wait. just hope it doesnt ruin the rest of the quiver, akila boards did that to some degree already.
