Weird yes...robot umpires...novelty woudl be over by the first inning. Triple headers? Bars need ot be open for such things
I would be willing to tolerate a lot for one season to get baseball back. They can have older managers and coaches accessible via iPads, robot umpires, shortened season, play games and put teams in regions with stadiums and accommodations that are less densely populated, no fans, less fans, masked fans, no concessions...

According to that article, each player is getting $160K for the first two months of the season (no matter the contract) and then pro-rated based on games played (which means zero income if there's no games).
MLB should just go for it. This is their chance to catch up to NFL/NBA. Robot umpires, 7 innings, who cares. They'd get monster viewing numbers.
