Never tried, but a regular at one of my usuals pointed him out in the lineup a couple months ago and said he got a beautiful board from him that works great. He was friendly and respectful in the water, FWIW.
I was wondering when Micah was going to start popping up.
He's a good kid that's passionate about building surfboards. His brother used to cut boards before moving into a real job.
Micah's been doing the grunt work for a long time. Works in a couple reputable shops that pump out both lots of HPSBs and glossy, expensive stuff. He gets his hands on a lot of quality work and his glassing and color work chops keep getting better. He digs those fishie outlines but does other interesting stuff too. A good follow on the IG for more looks and an easy enough guy to get a board from.
