another solid strike to PR. Dislocated my shoulder again second session on Friday (they really do pop out and back in much easier once it’s happened a first time) so I took yesterday off and got a massage instead. Told the lady about the dislocation and she spent a solid half hour massaging and heating up and even used some tiger balm on all of those arm tendons and ligaments. Still sore as sh!t but I think I have enough range of motion to paddle out this morning. Gorgeous apartment. Waves pumping. Injuries just part of the game. Small set I snapped as I waxing up

tore off a piece of toe walking out the key hole. This little guy is begging for infection but he’s getting multiple hydrogen peroxide baths every day

this is officially my new strike pad anytime I fly down for a big NW. 5 min from airport, and all the relevant spots up on the corner. Rincon a half hour south

What about that sand bag you made me buy can’t I finally use that?

got a belly full this morning until the arm just wasn’t keeping up anymore.
Can’t complain. Strike was huge success

watch The vid, apply the principals, go light to start. Sandbags challenge the stabilizers more than any other training modality.

and nobody made you do anything, accountability bro

My parents and my in laws all live 10 minutes away... there's no "they're coming over for Christmas". They come over weekly but it's as brief as 20 minutes, no problem at all. And they bring food, I say keep'em coming!

Yep.
Different scenario.

After yesterday, I think I understand my role a bit more.

Dump the kids on them and leave. Do everything that is hard to get to with the kids, leave the house, complete a project, hit the gym, go sit in your car, anything but stay home. MIL watched the kid while we were at work. Everyone survived, everyone was in a good mood, she left for dinner with my sister in law. I barely interacted with her and everyone was happy. All of the conflict comes from when we are stumbling over each other, I'm being peppered with stupid questions, or I'm being overly critical of her every move.

This is the way.

Now I wish she was here one more day. There's a spot around the corner that should be cooking (probably packed though) this afternoon.
