At 6'0, an ASQ is practically a midlength!
At 175lbs, I would use my 5'9 when everyone else was on MLs and logs, and had a blast. Just sayin.

Yeah, maybe it was the width/dims on that 5'9" one, but that was my experience. It caught waves like a champ. Great speed & flow. I would even end up scooting forward and surfing it from the middle a lot, making it around sections. I got the impression for quick turning, those designs need to be real short to be able to crank it around, so I just cruised on that one. I think the split tails are meant to do well in rounder surf, but I never really tried it in better waves, as I have others I want to ride when it's good. The 5'6 Superchunk I got from MrSteve feels like my feet are always in the right spot, turns better, and not oversized/boaty for me.
