Managua for a day

Heading down to Nica in the next couple weeks and I'm going to have a full day to burn in Managua. Any recommendations for things to see/do in or around the city?

Stay in your hotel and drink rum. I always try to limit my time in that city, its a bit sketchy in spots

Didn’t get the greatest suggestions from locals when I was there and went through it. Probably best bet is to find a comfortable hotel with a pool and bar to just chill at.

Yeah, Managua ain't the best city to 'hang out' in...I've heard the market is cool.

sorry this is all I got but some fellas in my surf camp got some fun hookers a couple times while were were there. They seemed to enjoy themselves.
