Haha. Yeah, AO definitely the most forward-placed of any of my current twin fins: the others are pretty much GG-inspired/approved. Been a while.
There's a lot going on with this boar...
Key and I had to to rip off a normal placed pad then go wax and then I went astro dek CF wide pad lined up start of kick with back of fin "Sorry pad police":drowning: After never had issues with back foot and got some great back side hacks since:waving:

Negative only Alpha Omega if your back foot is not over twin cluster during turn:shaka: Never had this issue surfing 5 fin MC bonzer and sure 3 fin would be same:shrug:
I have owned about 10 bonzers (5 fin, 3 fin) around the mid 2000's. All had moments of brilliance! 5th gear! and also moments of WTF! Put your hind hoof back like a shortboard and you can spin right out if trying to go vert.
I don't have time for the WTF moments and have moved on.

In the words of GH, a great bonzer shaper, "It's a love hate thing with bonzers."

My bumblebee 5'6" and semi gun 7'1" both tested in heavy conditions never failed for me and would say reverse that during not so good conditions "mush burgers" bonzer is not the right tool from the shed :shrug:IMHO not all bonzers are created the same so if no Campbell shape does not count:bricks:

bumping to the top

trying to figure out an AO step-up

I have a stock 5-10, love it, but thinking about a 6-2 for when more water moves around and maybe. travel board (thinking restaurants ).

I know a few have them a bit longer and with round tails?

I have a 6’4 x 20 3/4 x 2 11/16 round tail. It’s a great board. If I do it again I’ll go narrower.

I plan on ordering a 6’2 round tail, will take into account Duffys note on narrowness.

Been riding mine reg Ao with some griffin twins lately, need to get some better waves for more testing.

. Works great for me, love the board. I’m not busting airs and doing rotations , ever. Not sure how it would work for that crowd.

Will be interested to see how a pu one works compared to the dark arts.
Was running FCS power drives , then the merrick twins Duffy hooked me up with and now Griffin twins.
They all work well. Griffin, Merrrick and then FCS is how I have them ranked for now.

pics below running the FCS fins on what was probably too gutless waves for the board but still fun.
Board loves some juice. Makes drops and impossible sections. Once you figure it out it will surprise the fook out of you.

Mine just feels a little full. Honestly once I’m on it for a couple waves I don’t really notice it. It’s just when I first get on it after riding the other one.

The width of it makes it so I can ride some pretty gutless waves though but this isn’t what I got it for.

Now that I’m thinking about it I guess it‘s fine the way it is.

This is where I take sh!t for my decor. The dog was a much beloved one and upon his death someone gave me the painting. It was sitting on the couch because at the time I didn't know where else to put it. It's hanging in the stairwell now. (I miss you Jig!) The pillow, yeah, I have a wife. I think she's trying to tell me something? Maybe it's working. I don't wake up wanting to hurt someone quit as much anymore. Whatever. At least the couch isn't "Salmon" colored?
