That doesn't sound or look gay at all.
You can make you’re own plug buddy - use a small zip tie, inserted through the out hole so it comes off after pulling the leash string through the plug. … yeah that sounds kinda weird but that’s where we’re at.

Oh, the shame of an unacceptable string. Hadn't ridden this board in months and pulled it out of the bag after I parked to find this mess. The janky string did the job that session, but clearly I've got to reevaluate my choices in life. How did I let things get this bad??
