Haven't wrapped my leash around my fins since I was around 13 years old. I was in the Bahamas and Willy Morris who was staying at the same resort told me " don't do that, only kooks do that" seeing me start to wrap my leash after we had just paddled in from surfing a fun spot on Eleuthera.Get a leash for each board and the velcro won't go as quick.
Also don't wrap them around your fins.
A shop guy just said this to me about 40 minutes ago. I'll give it a go.If you have a board rack and its against a wall, put some nails in above the rack and hook your leggy to it when the board is in the rack, that way it hangs straight and won't have memory coil...
Creatures are great, and price is right.I know this isn’t helpful given what you’ve say said but I’m loving the full line of creatures leashes. My comp is getting a little curly but it’s well over a year. Velcro is still very solid. Definitely my favorite leashes right now.
I find the Velcro strong and the leash itself is made from a softer material that seems to kink less than others.
Damn. I've got a few of the Premium One-XTs. 6, 7 and 8ft, and they've been flawless. The Coldwater version has a slightly longer cuff that fits better over winter wetties and booties. It appears only their big wave leashes ship to the US
I can’t tell the difference. Got a couple hex on sale (really shitty color) and compared to same thickness round I just can’t feel any difference.Never tried one. Does the hex actually help? Dane prefers the regular cylindrical leash for some reason.
I'm developing a single into double nonagonal shaped leash. It's gonna be really expensive.Never tried one. Does the hex actually help? Dane prefers the regular cylindrical leash for some reason.
My friend used the XM tangle free leashes and they absolutely did not tangle. But he did snap three of them and has not snapped any other leashes. Can't remember how they snapped and it is a small sample size of only three leashes so take it for what it's worth. Might have just been a bad run of production but who knows. Hell, my creatures comp leash has lasted YEARS and the OP hates his so who knows. Even my old one never snapped and I keep it as a backup.I think i got some of the o&e leashes that aren't available in US off ebay.
Kinda wanna try one of those XM tangle free ones now.
