It's much more sad that the administration is bending to the will of these fucking idiots

The Arizona State University Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, Multicultural Solidarity Coalition, and MECHA de ASU

Pretty impressive. And I have no problem with guns when used for sport like that.

But can we talk about what a rich trustafarian this lil girl is? Guns, ammo and training are expensive. Even if she has sponsors and getting the hook-ups. Clearly this girl and her parents have devoted a lot of time and resources to get her to this level. For her sake I hope she’s happy.

Probably no different than what I've spent on surf equipment, contests, travel etc for my three kids over the years. Beats the hell out of travel baseball or soccer though that I see some families do.

One of my Uncle’s girls loves to shoot and will be attending UNH in part because

Every time I go out shooting with friends it’s a couple hundred bucks. And I’m not purchasing the firearms. To be shooting on that level she has to be training pretty regularly.

Gun owners should be responsible for securing their weapons at all times. And they should have to carry liability insurance for them just like a car.
Having them secured is fine for the sport shooters but kind of makes them useless for personal protection crowd.

Thats the conundrum. Lock it away in the safe unloaded with a trigger lock and you don’t have it in that one in a million chance you fall victim to a home intrusion in the middle of the night. But leave it loaded in your nightstand and you add all kinds of other risk factors from theft to accidental shootings Of loved ones or guests.

Nowhere in the 2nd Amendment does it say anything about owners not taking responsibility for their weapons.
