Sub Xero with twin + trailer is the magic now.
curious about this one. felt a 5'7 under arm and the rail feels well foiled than the listed stringer thickness at 2 5/8. the hyfi 2.0 construction feels interesting too. what size is yours @waxfoot?

The rail is what everyone immediately comments on, it doesn't feel like a JS rail at all. You can easily go up "two thickness increments over your normal thickness" and it not feel chonky.

I have the 5.7 and surfed it as a quad at first and now as a 2+1. Both these set ups are fantastic - didn't even bother as a thruster.

I like the looks of this one, maybe it would go good a bit longer and narrower? thinking 5'9 x 19 5/8 x 2 9/16 in the 30.5-31L range

I don't like super short boards, had a lost rocket and pyzel rip off years ago at 5'8 and that was short enough

had one of those stupidly short CI fishcuits a while back too

Ace Buchan on the same board, this is about as big as it will reliably handle

Such a trip saver.

yeah, that's barely grovel material
I'm talking about the old videos of Lowers.

I consider knee-thigh high, drained out Lowers breaking in a few feet of water to be a grovel.

So does pretty much every adult that is catching any waves out there and not bogging.

That's why a groveler is the call.

The board makes it look much better than it is.

your definition of grovel is far different than mine. I can;t believe you surf as much as you claim you do. I've got 50 pounds on you and I wouldn't be on my groveler in those waves

Mine is anything under waist high.

huh. OK.

I've got 50 pounds on you and I wouldn't be on my groveler in those waves
You'd be wishing you were on a groveler.

Anyone who surfs Lowers on the reg would agree with me

You're either drunk, trolling, or both.

Your impetus to bicker goes up when you're drunk, so probably both.
