I think is responsibility of all the contesters to stand up and get together to avoid the competition in that place.
The environment impact that is there is terrible, and having humans surfing over could be the same as having a marathon in Chernobyl 6 yeas after the emergency, it just don't make sense.

Hopefully the governments could realize of the possible health impact cause they should be aware already of the environment impact.

Also the global community shoud stand up against this kind of problems, I saw that Germany is closing their Nuclear Plants, but I think that is not a good idea, the nuclear power is the cleanest way of energy, ,there will be errors, but more and more studies could me us better and better about how to avoid errors in the future.
