Yeah the wind has been nuts up here. Steady 20mph with heavier gusts for almost a week now.
Lincoln and Lido look pretty damn fun on the Surfline cams. That NE'ly fetch off the NE is long and wicked looking. Beautiful weather down here in the Lowcountry tho. (but no surf)
Add 15mph and you have what its been like in NJ since last Friday evening.

it was large and in charge this morning boys. Wind offshore with a bit of an east slant to it, 20+, gusting to 40 easy. well overhead, 11 seconds, low tide, super tough to paddle in. Including me and my buddy, there were a grand total of SIX dudes in the water in a one mile stretch trying to scratch into these windy beasts...Any other halfway decent day there would be hundreds
Got one good right. Got chucked on a couple, got rolled by a couple, bounced hard once off the sandbar, my board smashed my shin, and I limped back to the house. Got the blood pumping though, and tomorrow should be way more manageable

Yea looked challenging today. I got stuck on a project and missed it, not all that bummed but it looked like there was some serious potential if the stars aligned.

By 5 pm Monday, after a long work day digging out from an 11 day trip, and still being on Irish time, I was exhausted…couldn’t muster for an evening session in that weather lol. We had like 80%+ sunny/dry days in Ireland, only to come home to a raging 55 degree 3 day torrential nor’easter.
The Delmarva this afternoon. Every dog has its day!

I think a few LI zones had their moments but i dont think that conditions were ideal.
