Where I live and the circles in which I occasionally travel, a good sport coat is worth more than money
Its important in professional circles to be well dressed. Wearing a stylish, sophisticated yet casual and relaxed outfit goes a long way. The most important thing is getting the fit right.

Of course! That wasn’t a criticism. Just made me laugh bc where I’m at in life ATM does not even usually involve socks.
That’s the ten years or less plan :shaka: good on ya !
a pair of green merino socks with my water proof blundstones make for the Irish equivalent of flip flops. Same comfort level, plus merino wool is foot sex

Surf update: if a session is happening, thursday is the day. Modest 3-4 feet at 12 second swell, but more importantly light north winds, which I THINK can be mitigated at a couple of spots i have scouted the last few days. that size could be overhead and hollow at that spot near the ferry, or Lahinch has a couple of different spots that could take shelter from the light N winds. We’ll see

tomorrow we are taking a full day adventure to the Dingle Peninsula. I will have a board in the Peugeot turbo diesel SUV, just in case

She’s a pretty sporty thing for a rented SUV. Gets a lot of compliments. Takes these little, Irish, one lane, hedgerow-ensconced super highways like a champ. Fast.

the new sport coat will be for dinner at trumps place tomorrow night

the Dingle peninsula not only has a dope name, it lives up to the hype

I got to eat a dozen gummies and my wife drove home. The ride without having to focus was unreal. She’s a peach, and a hell of a driver. Passing milk trucks like paddy Andretti

Yes tomorrow is a morning drive to Galway, have a walk around, little touristing, and have a late Irish breakfast. Then Head back to Lahinch for 2:30 low tide and hopefully enough swell and that wind forecast holds. Mrs Subway even has her 4/3 and boots so we will rent her a soft top at Bens right there.

Supposedly there is a left reef up a bit on the south side of the Lahinch bay that is “for the good surfers” according to a local who seemed to know enough of what he was about

What else….I got a bunch of rando vacation shots. This island is photogenic to say the least, and now I’m in the causeway hotel with wifi and hot water
