its not about caring about cops. fook the police for the most part. its about the right screaming blue lives matter all year and then when cops try to enforce the laws against the them - they quickly turned into some little girls an d wound up killing one of them.

What is being lost here is the "Felony Murder" rule. I don't pretend to know the law in the District of Columbia. But what I do know is that most states have some version of the felony murder rule. It works like this: if in the act of committing a felony, someone dies, whether at the hand of the felon or someone else, the felon can be charged with second degree murder. So... if the rioters who stormed the Capitol were committing a felony at the time, and people died, they could potentially be prosecuted for second degree murder.

The only rub with this officer is whether he died as the result of violence, of from some other cause.

A LOT of unanswered questions about actions taken and NOT taken during the Capitol riot.

We STILL don't know the name of the officer or agent that shot the un-armed women protester. Little to any info about the incident available.

Little to any info about how the National Guard was not stationed there, but instead posted up in downtown DC instead as much as 2 days in advance.

All rioters should be punished to full extent of the law, but seems a lot questions remain as to preparedness when DC and feds KNEW there was going to be a substantial protest that day (possibly 100's of 1000's), many days prior.

There will be investigations. You will get your answers. Did you notice, in any of the photos or videos, anything indicating Qanon?

be careful what you wish for...you'll have a lot of chickenflucking to do when
the details of the security failures come to light...

remember a large percentage of those arrested thus far are current or former
active duty police and military

I'm sure you'll find some way to equivocate....

and it will be fun for us to watch...

because, that's what you do

Didn't most (not all by any means, qualifier) "rally's" during the summer turn into marches that turned into riots, looting, burning and physical violence? With deaths of many, including LE.

And, is it really surprising that LE, armed forces and other public first responder types (firefighters, med-ER) were there after months of being stigmatized as THEE racist/white supremacist "problem" with racial injustice?

The simple fact is the left and the media ran with a story that turned out to be false. Just like they always do so long as it fits their political objectives. Now they are stuck backpeddling as the false narrative falls apart.

So the big GOTCHA here is that the NYT corrected the record because facts matter?

Do you really believe this narrative?
Nice deflection. You wanted the false narrative to be true so bad that you would believe anything. Hell, you don't even care that the news reporting was a lie because the lie served its purpose. This is the pattern of the media correcting the record quietly after the initial lie has served its political purpose.

I'm only bringing this up because the dwindling Donnie BooBoo supporters should have a chance to respond. <hee haw>

Aren’t there over 100 criminal investigations into the capitol insurrection? Seems like it’s a little more than a nothing-burger.
