He lost the first election, then he and his cronies played the fear card real well in 2004

You got to give them credit on how well they put it together

His approval rating is down about 32% now, so at least most of the US has wised up. To bad it was 2 years too late I guess according to some that post here that would make 68% of the US population unpatriotic

The people who support him no matter what are the Born Agains, snake handlers and tongue speakers. Then there's Disco Tex who's kind of an outlier.

In the second election, I think something like 51% supported him. But when your alternative is a Nam-era turncoat flip-flopping New England liberal, that's what you are gonna get.

You gotta like a president who speaks from the gut, a guy whose beliefs are solid. You know where he stands. He believes the same thing Wednesday that he believed on Monday, no matter what happened Tuesday. Events can change; Bush's beliefs never will.

It'll be SO much more interesting in 08 when Billary runs against McCain. If Clinton wins, the White House interns better watch themselves! And if McCain wins, who knows who will run the country, he is 70 years old now, it'll be like Reagan all over again, a man with no mind left running the big show. OK, I guess Reagan was a year older for his second term than McCain would be, but he ended up letting his astrologist call the shots for the last four years, landing us with Iran-Contra. I guess we could always sell Iran more arms to fund rebels in Central America!

New slogan: Watch out Mama, I'm for Obama!

iran-contra was a double edged sword..it raised funds for rebels in central america and prevented iran from total defeat..the u.s. had always told saddam if he defeated iran he could then reclaim kuwait..after the war in saddams veiw he had won and so he took his prize..so you know what we did next..and this story continues on
