Why mesh?

My friends wife had mesh and had to get it taken out.

This was years ago.

I had in the 80s.

Now I got on both sides.

I got my last hernia fucking
cuz I'm a man,
and that is what men do.

The longer you can wait the better.

I wouldn't spare for 6 weeks.

But maybe you can and you will get lucky.

Yeah I had it done about 13 years ago.

An open repair. Mesh.

Open repairs yield better long term results compared to laproscopy.

I think it was about 3 months recovery. Pretty painful initially as the muscles in that region are involved in the majority of full body movement.

Plenty of discomfort in that zone over the following years, which gradually dissipated. My understanding is this is more common in lean people with less body fat to pad the area.

Once in while I will still occasionally "tweak" that area, but goes away in a few days.

I was getting head within a week or so and fucking after I think a month.

You will likely gets lots of brusing on your groin and scroto if you get open repair.

3 weeks straight this time. It been off and on over the years.

I got a book on exercises from the 1920s.

They were super annoying.

Hernias are all about controlling the pelvic floor.

The irony is you go cut stuff up and you loose more motor control

But you are old to this will probably last you till you die.

I had lapro with mesh in 2014. If I recall, recovery was very short -- maybe a few weeks. I've had no lingering pain or other issues. Good surgeon, I guess.

1st week or 2 recovery was more painful than I expected. I remember needing help to get up out of my beach chair at my kid sports game. Old man slow walk.
